Someone needs to slap me around a bit…

Now now, don't get all dirty on me, ya'll. I meant because I haven't blogged in months. MONTHS.

So much has been happening for us personally that I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed. On top of that, there were [i]weeks[/i] when I was feeling so poorly that I couldn't concentrate on anything but trying to feel better. So with so much going on, I was focusing my energy on my health and what needed to be handled on a daily basis. I kept up with our submissions, but in return decided that blogging had to take a back seat. Somewhere, something had to give.

I can't say I'll be blogging regularly again, but I'm going to try to get more going here.

Draumr releases have been slow this year, simply because we have not been blown away with too many submissions. We won't put out something that isn't meaningful to us, and thus we haven't published much. We are open to submissions and faithfully combing through them, so keep sending them in! Responses to initial submissions (which means your first three chapters and a full story synopsis) are roughly six weeks, just FYI.

Meanwhile, many of our books are on Kindle, iPad, and epub (for other ereaders). We have a few more to come out, like Gene Wright's [i][url=http://www.ridaallen.com/store/cart.php?target=search&substring=accidental+warrior]The Accidental Warrior[/url][/i], and our [i][url=http://www.ridaallen.com/store/cart.php?target=search&substring=leading+ladies]Leading Ladies[/url][/i] anthology (Bagshaw, Simon, Devlin, King). Of course, both of those books are available in print and in PDF (electronic).

Sadly, despite repeated attempts at a fix, Apple refuses to publish descriptions on many of our books in the iBookstore. If you're interested in one of our books via the iBookstore, you'll have to find the descriptions here, then go to iBookstore to buy. I really dislike Apple, FYI.
