There are no good excuses. Of COURSE I'm busy – if I weren't busy I'd find myself something to do, and then I'd be busy again, so it was like I was never not busy in the first place, right? Recursive. Ouroboros.
I've been reading a lot lately – in addition to reviewing a manuscript that will probably see print next year sometime, I've been tearing through some sci-fi lately – back reading the Ender's Shadow series by Orson Scott Card. I read Ender's Shadow shortly after it came out, but hadn't kept up. However I recently heard bits and pieces of Shadow of the Hegemon on XM Radio (Sonic Theater, woot!) and had to get back in. So like a buzzsaw I made the trip to Borders and…well, I have a few books to go. And look, I never did read Children of the Mind, the last (so far!) book in the Ender/Speaker of the Dead side of the tale…..sheesh.
Beyond that it's been the usual music music music and gaming gaming gaming. Work work work fits in somewhere, but who wants to hear about that that that?
(When I repeat the words three times it looks like I've done a longer blog – yet lest any author think I let them cheat on a manuscript, HA! Can't fool a fool…er…you get the idea.)
