Metaphorically, of course. I haven't actually been in the ocean for a few years – more's the pity – the metaphor is apt.
The summer continues and is hot. It's old to me that the nights seem barely colder than the day – the mugginess of the area equates to 90's by day and 80's by night. Not much a relief there.
In six months or so when the land is gripped in an icy hand, I suspect we'll all yearn for the sensation of being hot again.
Well, not really, but you get the idea.
Recently watched: Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog. I have an avowed dislike of musicals. I like my music and my drama to be cleaved into separate forms. (The one exception I make is the musical CHESS, but that is because I love Chess, and, I've never actually had to watch it – just listen to it) But I think Mr. Joss Whedon can do little wrong, so I had to give it a chance.
And it's excellent. Sadly I'm catching on to that long after many people did, and, you can no longer watch it for free. It's still available (I think!) on iTunes, and I'm told there is a DVD of the project coming out soon.
I suggest you investigate it. It's good.
If only I can get Rida to trust me and watch it…
