One of the big differences between Rida and I is in how impulsive we are in how we acquire things.
Rida is a researcher – she studies, she finds reviews, she compares and contrasts…she is relatively risk-averse to the idea of buying something that is less than what she wanted.
Me, I'm a lot more impulsive. I heard one song from Eddie (singer from Peal Jam) Vedder's new CD on XM and had to have the full CD. From one song. I buy books based on authors and topics I've liked in the past – I don't check reviews, I don't read the back cover; I come, I acquire, I devour.
Certainly not saying one way is preferable to the other – they both have their pros and cons, and they are both likely to drive adherents of the the opposite style mad. But hey, that's fun, too.
