Destruction is always easier than creation. It takes hours to build what can be demolished in seconds. Less than seconds. Sometimes it just takes a word and all of the blood sweat and tears are wiped away, dust motes in the gale.
Such as, say, my planned updates of alarming frequency.
It's true; I find that I have less worthy to say and thus put off making an entry. As I said to Rida, the only blogger worse than one who does not update because they have nothing to say is the one who DOES update with nothing to say.
Not that I would ever cast stones. Despite the fact that my house is made of stone, not glass. What, you think me a fool?
Let's see. Substantive material for the update.
1. I've lost control of the Draumr Myspace page. The login to update it is not working and all efforts to contact Myspace.com support have failed. The Destroyer is not pleased.
2. 30 Seconds to Mars is far cooler than they have any right to be. Their two CDs – "30 Seconds to Mars" and "A Beautiful Lie" are in heavy rotation on my iTunes.
3. As if I didn't have enough reading to do, I've been on a huge graphic novel kick lately. Yes, Virginia, that's a fancy term for "comic books". I like the format a lot more than the monthly releases – for one, complete story arcs are presented at once without waiting, and secondly, NO ADS! Lately I've enjoyed two by DC Comics: Identity Crisis was EXCELLENT, and Infinite Crisis was good but not AS good. The two stories (related, if the names weren't a clue) really take the iconic DC Comics Heroes and somehow manage both to portray them in a new light and maintain their unique archetype characteristics – Superman is a boy scout, Batman the brooding detective, etc. Very good stuff, and very adult in theme.
Wow, look at all that material. Go me.
