That didn't take long. One busy day plus a trip out to dinner and a bookstore and I'm too brain-fried to actually make the post.
Good job, Rob!
Ahem.
Anyway. Today's update. The reading conundrum.
Given that I am, like you might imagine, a Great Reader of Many Books, I often find myself with a problem. Many books to read and a determined lack of focus. So what, gentle reader, do you think that results in?
Reading multiple books at a time, of course.
I average about five books at any one time. I'll be at various points of completion with each of them – finish one, start a new one, switch it up and read a few chapters of book X that I can only seem to read a few chapters a month on.
It's a little maddening. But I like the disparate nature of multiple books. I currently have going: two fantasy books, one nonfiction on the American War for Independance, two sci-fi and one book on buisness.
Yes, I can keep them all straight. My mind is highly compartmentalized and can juggle well.
Does make for strange dreams sometimes, though…
