It's amazing how time passes. On a Monday, you can't wait for Friday. On Sunday, you so desperately want Monday to wait a few days – even if you love your work, sometimes…you need that weekend. Refreshment for mind and body and soul.<\/p>\n
Also, I get to sleep in, sometimes.<\/p>\n
I've still had my head crammed in the server – figuratively, not literally, because the server is off at it's colo center and I don't visit it in person terribly often – and seem to have missed the fact that:<\/p>\n
A) it has been a month since I have posted, and, \/cool.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”B)” border=”0″ alt=”cool.gif” \/> I really did start writing something a week ago!<\/p>\n
It's hard to exist in two worlds. So, given my penchant for always making things harder on myself than they need to be, I live in like six. Sometimes I can multitask well and juggle them all; sometimes, not so much, and a ball goes astray and bounces down, down, and I have to go diving for it before it hits Bailey (she would never lower herself to fetching a BALL) causing her to glare at me from removing her from some remarkably nice dream where she has countless rabbits to chase and hordes of nicely roasted chicken to eat – freshly dropped directly in front of her, of course.<\/p>\n
We all have that dream. Although I substitute "new toy soldiers" for rabbits and "pizza" for chicken, typically.<\/p>\n
Right. So that's the score. Still alive, having a busy summer – this is the real world, kids! – and, um, really need to get back to that story I started….<\/p>\n
