W. Doob&gt;<br \/>intransitive verb : to undergo evolutionary change<\/p>\n<p>Good words tend to get lots of definitions.  We milk them, if you will, for everything we can.<\/p>\n<p>Evolve.  Adapt.  Improve.  These are basically the tools of survival.  Fall down?  Stand up.  Fail?  Learn from it, try again.  Get beaten?  Learn from the defeat and win the next round.<\/p>\n<p>I once told someone that I would someday be one of the smartest people in the world because I make so many mistakes here and now.  The difference from one to the next is an evolution.  <\/p>\n<p>A big business buzzword these days is &quot;continual improvement&quot;.  It basically means that companies are coming to the realization that getting locked into policies and procedures, repetition and rote, basically cut off future improvement.  Big entities unlike people don&#39;t have the same natural evolution because they specifically cut themselves off from that sort of variance from consistency.  <\/p>\n<p>The whole digital press world is an evolution.  The old model of book printing is scared.  The day when you walk into a bookstore and ask for any title ever made is not far off.  The clerk will feed your request into a printer and in a half-hour &#8211; maybe less &#8211; you&#39;ll have your new shiny copy of Driving&#8230;Adam Crazy or Lost and Found.
