So much has been going on around here, with the move and our recent loss (We miss you, The Princess!), that we feel like we've been in the middle of quite an upheaval for a long time. Between the new digs (in progress since March!), the sale of the old house, the living in between houses, and the move into the new house, everything feels weird.<\/p>\n
Even being in the new house, we feel like we're sort of just visiting. Things around us are ours, but the house doesn't feel like ours yet. And without The Princess, everything just feels…wrong. We're working our way through, but it's been difficult.<\/p>\n
And we added a new friend, The Cow, to our family. The Cow is, well, cow-colored and cow-shaped. She's a sweet dog, but overweight and a bit traumatized by her recent moves (sound familiar?). We're working with her and giving her tons of love, but it's taking some time. She's been moved four times in the last year, including being dumped at a shelter by her original owner. At some point she'll realize she's safe here, and will be very verrrry spoiled. In the meantime, we're waiting for a new fence to go in so she can really enjoy the new yard.<\/p>\n
After the first of the year, we'll be releasing some more books to the Kindle and iPad (and epub) formats. We're also on the cusp of signing a couple of contracts for new books. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing and getting these great new books in your hands (or your ereaders).<\/p>\n
For those who have been asking, we are not yet on the Nook store, because of a clause in their contract that we cannot agree to. If and when they fix that clause, we'll move forward in that direction. Until then, you can purchase your epub format books here and transfer them onto your Nook for reading.<\/p>\n
There's been some sort of error, and the [i]Talented Horsewoman[\/i] is available on [url=http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B003UV98UY]Kindle[\/url] for $2.99 again! You might go try to grab it before Amazon fixes the error. I can't guarantee how long that will take. (It also means the book is $2.99 on the [url=http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/ca\/book\/talented-horsewoman\/id395733824?mt=11] iBookstore[\/url] as well!).<\/p>\n
We've also been pretty quiet on Twitter lately, but I'll be opening my big mouth again soon! And once our contracts are signed, I'll be making those announcements as well.<\/p>\n
